218. When a person is received and/or baptized into the Church by a chaplain endorsed by the Division of Chaplains and Related Ministries and has no local church to which the membership and records may be sent, the chaplain shall send the name, address, and related facts to the General Board of Discipleship for recording on the General Military Roll. It is desirable that as soon as possible these persons be transferred from the General Military Roll to the appropriate roll of local United Methodist church of their choice.
