1111. Financial Support--1. The work of the board shall be supported from the general benevolences of the Church, the amount to be determined by the General Conference following the budgeting procedures established in 906.
2. Either on behalf of its total work or on behalf of one of its programs, the board may solicit and create special funds, receive gifts and bequests, hold properties and securities in trust, and administer all its financial affairs in accordance with its own rules and provisions of the Discipline. Funds vested in any of the predecessor boards shall be conserved for the specific purposes for which such funds have been given.
