1219. Age-Level and Family Ministries--1. To provide a coordinated and integrated approach for developing resources and support for children, youth, adults of all ages, family and singles programs.

2. To provide interpretation, resources, consultative and support services to age-level and family ministry coordinators and other leaders as they carry out their responsibilities:

a) To encourage and resource programs in local Churches addressed to the differing needs and aspirations of persons in each age group and of families as centers for the formation of spiritual growth, values, and vocation consistent with Christian teaching and practice.

b) To provide in collaboration with other appropriate agencies resources, training, consultative and administrative services, and support for specialized programs in age-level and family ministries. This includes, but is not limited to, marital growth programs, parenting programs, human sexuality training programs with children, youth, adults of all ages, families and singles in settings of service and leisure; intergenerational ministries and preparation for lifelong process of aging also may be included.

3. To provide liaison relationships and joint programming services with specialized interdenominational and cooperative programs in age-level and family ministries. This includes, but is not limited to, the International Christian Youth Exchange and Scouting.
