1445. Executive Committee--There shall be an executive committee of the department whose powers shall be determined by the department subject to approval of the board. It shall be composed of nine persons: the chairperson, vice-chairperson, recording secretary, and six other persons elected by the department, one of whom shall be a member of the Women's Division Executive Committee serving on the Health and Welfare Ministries Department.
The executive committee shall include at least two persons from racial and ethnic groups. The associate general secretary and treasurer of the department shall be members of the executive committee, ex officio and without vote.
