1467. The United Methodist Committee on Relief shall elect an executive committee which shall have the powers granted to it by the department. It shall be composed of five members, including the president, vice-president, and secretary of the department. The associate general secretary and the treasurer of the department and the officers of the board as defined in 1409.3 shall be members ex officio. At least one-half of the members shall be women. The executive committee shall meet as determined by the department or on call of the president.
