1737. There shall be one complete, coordinated system of literature published by the board for the entire United Methodist Church. This literature is to be of such type and variety as to meet the needs of all groups of our people. The board president and publisher shall consult with the general program agencies, the General Commission on Communication, and the General Council on Ministries with regard to their publishing needs in order to avoid unnecessary overlapping and duplication.
