1808. Executive Committee--There shall be an executive committee, composed of the president, vice-president, secretary, and three other members of the commission elected by it. The executive committee shall perform the duties and exercise the authority of the commission between meetings. Its minutes shall be submitted to the commission for approval. The executive committee and the commission may vote on any matter by mail. Mail polls shall be directed by the general secretary, who shall state clearly the propositions to be voted on and announce the results to all the members.
