1. There shall be in each Annual Conference a conference Commission on Religion and Race or alternate structure, following the general guidelines and structure of the General Commission on Religion and Race as outlined in ¶¶ 2102, 2108 where applicable. The responsibilities of the Commission on Religion and Race may be assigned to an existing or newly created multifunctional agency of the Conference Council that cares for the functions of and the connectional relationships of the General Commission on Religion and Race, the Conference, districts, and local churches.
