To set minimal standards for ordained ministers and local pastors desiring to serve as certified interim pastors. The board shall send copies of these standards quadrennially to the bishops, district superintendents, conference Board of Ordained Ministry and certified interim pastors. An ordained minister or local pastor who feels called of God to be a certified interim pastor should prepare for such service under the guidance of the Annual Conference to which the person belongs.
