1. There shall be a Conference Administrative Council in each Annual Conference. Its purpose shall be to help carry out the annual conference's mission to equip local churches to make disciples of Jesus Christ and to help connect together local churches for broader mission and ministry. Its primary responsibility will be to align the work of all conference agencies in order to ensure that the conference's mission is faithfully and effectively carried out. The Conference Administrative Council may organize itself in any way the Annual Conference determines, including teams, committees and task forces.
2. Membership----The Annual Conference will determine the size of the Conference Administrative Council. The Council will elect its own officers. The membership will consist of the following:
a. the resident Bishop
b. the district superintendents
c. executive conference staff
d. the annual conference Lay Leader
e. the chair of the episcopal committee
f. the chair of the Council on Finance and Administration
g. the chair of the Board of Ordained Ministry
h. the chair of the Board of Diaconal Ministry
i. the president of the conference United Methodist Women
j. the president of the conference United Methodist Men
k. the president of the conference youth organization
l. other members as the Annual Conference shall determine
