The Council shall be responsible for ensuring that no board, agency, committee, commission, or council shall give United Methodist funds to any group which promotes any cause which is not compatible with the Doctrinal Standards or the stated goals of the Social Principles of The United Methodist Church. The Council is empowered to stop such expenditures.
