Once considered the property of their mothers, unborn children are now acknowledged to be, if not fully human, at least as human beings in process. Because of this, we are reluctant to support any view which would view the developing fetus as merely a mass of tissue. We believe every unborn child has the right to be loved, if not by its natural born parents, then by adoptive parents. With the right to be loved comes also the right to be born and accepted into the world as a child of God.
