A duly appointed minister...into the membership of The United Methodist Church
under the conditions of ¶ 211 when such person shall have
confessed faith in Christ and expressed a desire to live daily life as a
disciple of Jesus Christ and agreed to assume the obligations of being a
faithful member of the Church. Where possible,...a statement
of the vows of membership verifying that such vows were
made shall be issued...as a member on the appropriate roll.
