The General Conference has assigned the responsibility for reviewing the location of the headquarters and staff of general agencies jointly to the General Council on Ministries (¶ 1006.26) and the General Council on Finance and Administration (¶ 907.2). A report approved by both councils will be presented by the General Council on Finance and Administration, including recommendation that the location of the headquarters buildings and staff of the general agencies remain in their current locations. Because of the specific 1992 General Conference action establishing a Site Selection Task Force for the relocation of the General Board of Global Ministries, the decision regarding the headquarters and staff location of this agency was left to that General Conference Task Force.
