Whereas, the NACP Task Force has implemented the plan by establishing four crucial goals: 1) congregational development, 2) leadership development, 3) Native American spirituality, and 4) denominational presence; and
Whereas, significant progress has been made in carrying out the identified goals of the plan; and
Whereas, the NACP Task Force voted to continue this viable ministry into the 1997-2000 quadrennium;
Therefore, be it resolved, that the 1996 General Conference fund the Native American Comprehensive Plan for the 1997-2000 quadrennium in the amount of 1.2 million dollars.
