In the event that the respondent fails to appear for a supervisory interview or at the duly called hearing of the Joint Review Committee and chooses not to participate in the supervisory or Joint Review process by refusing to return phone calls, refusing registered mail, refusing to communicate personally with the bishop or district superintendent, or speaking only through an attorney, then the respondent will be seen as being willing to forgo due process as described in ¶ 2622.
