The district Board of Trustees (or district Union) shall conduct, with the assistance of expert consultation, an energy audit of all properties and equipment it owns or holds in trust to assess their energy efficiency. It shall then develop a plan to maximize the energy efficiency of these properties and equipment based on this audit. This plan shall be reviewed annually and updated at appropriate intervals. This plan, its review and update shall be included in the board's (or Union's) annual conference reports.
