We petition the General Conference to reject all proposals to restructure and stop wasting church time and money with incessant "tinkering with the machinery." There are no compelling reasons to abandon structures of administrative board/council, Council on Ministries, education, mission, stewardship, finance, and so forth, as we now have them. Most of the new names have little broad meaning and seem to be grotesquely manufactured names. Why not wait at least three quadrennia and then check with the local churches to see if we need to start tinkering again with structure?
