Understanding Petition Numbers
In the event that a significant disruption occurs in the
life of a minister requiring disciplinary action short of removal of
ministerial credentials, the preferred course of action will be to allow for
the continuation of the minister's appointment with his/her current local
congregation or charge, providing there exists mutual assent between both
minister and pastor-parish committee.
