headquarters for soldiers and sailors, First Methodist EpiscopalChurch, Rev. WM. Gilbert,
Pastor, from 40 to 70 sailor's per Sunday spend the day; attend church,
bible class, remain for dinner, go for an afternoon hike, return for lunch,
Epworth league and evening service. Over 5,000 different men in service
have this spent their sabbath in christian fellowship. 67 have joined the
Church.
