69719 That no wounded soldier may lack unskilled nursing, the Surgeon General has called for 8,000 additional nurses to do such work as is shown in this picture at the Military Hospital in France supported by the American Red Cross

70497 French babies under American care, The Arc, has taken over a part of the work at a French Ponponnierre or Nursing Home near Paris. There are about 250 babies in this establishment and the Red Cross care for 48 of these in a separate building under the direction of Miss Bancle, an American assisted by French student nurses enjoying the sunshine on the grass outside their home. June 1918
