70497 French babies under American care, The Arc, has taken over a part of the work at a French Ponponnierre or Nursing Home near Paris. There are about 250 babies in this establishment and the Red Cross care for 48 of these in a separate building under the direction of Miss Bancle, an American assisted by French student nurses enjoying the sunshine on the grass outside their home.
