Count Okura looks on. Capt. Hardy came to Japan in 1853-4 with Commodore
Perry and revisited Japan in 1918.

JanOP1-88:2 Statue of Il Kamon No Kami, signer of the first treaty which
opened up Japan to foreign intercourse. Erected in Yokohama.
