312. Transfers--Diaconal ministers moving from one annual conference to another conference in The United Methodist Church may be received by transfer with the approval of the receiving bishop following that bishop's consultation with the chairperson or executive committee of the receiving conference board of diaconal ministry. The place of service appointment shall have been approved by the receiving bishop.
