A district superintendent may take up to three consecutive months' leave from his/her normal superintendent responsibilities for purposes of reflection, study, and self-renewal once during his/her term as superintendent. The bishop and Cabinet, in consultation with the committee on district superintendency, shall coordinate details pertaining to such leaves.
