United Methodist Foundation for Christian Higher Education
1522. The United Methodist Foundation for Christian Higher Education is incorporated in the state of Tennessee as a nonprofit, charitable organization with permanent ties to the Division of Higher Education, which elects its Board of Trustees. The general purpose of the foundation is to foster the growth and development of institutions of higher education by encouraging persons and corporations to provide financial support and by acting as a foundation for such support. The foundation is also authorized to serve as a trustee and administrator of gifts and bequests designated by donors to specific institutions.
