The Committee recommends concurrence as amended as follows:
1601.1 Membership. Line 2, delete three members from each
jurisdiction and insert sixteen members
Line 3, following "by the" Delete respective Jurisdictional
Conferences;
Line 3, following Jurisdictional Conferences; insert from the Annual Conference nominations on a ratio providing for an equitable distribution among the various jurisdictions, based on the combined clergy and laity memberships thereof as determined by the secretary of the General Conference, provided that no jurisdiction shall be represented by fewer than two such members
1601.b Line 2, following "to equitable representation" insert on the basis of race, color, age, gender, and persons with disabilities
