11733 A new view looking down into the tunnel which connects the American
barracks with the top of the City Wall at Peking. During the siege of
Peking this wall played an important part and it was necessary for the
soldiers to have means of reaching.
11734 A very clear small view of the tunnel used by the American soldiers
during the siege of Peking. This view is looking up into the tunnel from
the top of the City Wall to the barracks of the American soldiers and the
small picture of an American soldier is seen standing on guard at the
entrance to the tunnel.
