Tina Evans planned to marry a cripple even though her family made it clear that they will not accept him. In a talk with her church school teacher, Mrs. Kimball, Tina is confronted with the possibility that what she feels for her fiance is not real love but a protective sentimentality. Before the altar of the chapel, she faced her true motives. The teacher was driven by a sense of her inadequacy. They found in this experience together a beginning answer to their deepest needs. The way for Tina was not fully clear but she had stopped running. Theme: How the fellowship of the church meets our needs or facing up to pretense.
