The Methodist Librarians Fellowship is a group of professional librarians, archivists and scholars who either work at or related
to United Methodist higher education institutions, have collections dealing with Methodist materials whose institutions are
not related to the denomination or just interested in Methodist studies. The content of this collection revolves around two
central areas, namely, official records such as reports and minutes, and the working files of the Methodist Library Fellowship
officers.

History Note
The Methodist Librarians Fellowship is a group of professional librarians, archivists and scholars who either work at or related
to United Methodist higher education institutions, have collections dealing with Methodist materials whose institutions are
not related to the denomination or just interested in Methodist studies. The group meets on an annual basis to discuss ways
of presenting their holdings in various outlets such as print material, electronic media, etc. Discussions also revolved
around emerging technologies and how as a group they should incorporate these technologies to meet the needs of their institutions
and patrons.
Scope and Content Note
The content of this collection revolves around two central areas, namely, official records such as reports and minutes, and
the working files of the Methodist Library Fellowship officers. Here we see how the Methodist Fellowship Library planned
and implemented various goals to aid in the dissemination of Methodist history through various repositories
