History Note

The purpose of Relocation Study Committee, established by General Conference in 1988, was to study the feasibility of moving the General Board of Global Ministries from New York City.


Scope Note

Contains committee and sub-committee minutes, drafts, responses from the General Board of Global Ministries to questions and drafts, resources and possible site information packets and the final report of the Study Committee.

Access Restrictions

Denominational agency journals, reports and committee minutes are open to the public unless they have been closed in accordance with requirements specified in the Discipline. Denominational agency staff office records are closed for twenty-five (25) years after creation. Personnel records are closed for at least 75 years.
